Dear SRC Chairwoman Sandra Dungee Glenn,
We who live in the northwest community decry the recent
closing of the Ada Lewis Middle School. It is unjustified and, worse,
shortsighted.

Michael Nutter, Democratic Nominee for Mayor is soliciting money $250 if you can, to buy "rakes, shovels, gloves, trash bags and other supplies" for volunteers to use on cleanups he is organizing. The contributions go to his campaign fund?
Perhaps part of Atlanta Falcons Quarterback Michael Vick's plea deal for participating in a dog fighting ring should be a sentence recommendation that he go to schools,animal humane societies and places of worship every time he visits a city to play football for the rest of his career and perhaps beyond to advocate against animal cruelty and express the remorse he's proclaiming now that he finds himself in the jaws of the law.
And we've got trouble with a capital T right here in Philly
On a cleanup I organized at Awbury Park we found a pitbull, tied up with a clothesline back legs, torso and neck, that appeared to have been strangled.
