Last evening, at the Martin Luther King School on Stenton Avenue, I participated in a forum led by Chuck Taylor, of the CEO search group, and SRC Chairwoman Sandra Dungee Glenn about choosing the next CEO. The room was divided in two and I led my group in coming up with what we thought the school district is doing well (eg developing a solid core curriculum) what it isn't (adequately addressing needs of special ed students) and charactersistcs we would like to see in the next CEO (cares about children, an educator, financial and political savvy, willingness to work with parent and teachers)
