Once every four years, this being one, Philadelphians in each division get to elect three of the five-person election board: judge of elections, majority inspector and minority inspector.
Here is why YOU, a Green, should run to serve on your election board:
- Participate in electoral politics at the very roots of grassroots democracy
- Help ensure fair elections
- Bring political diversity to the election board
- Earn about $100 a day twice a year on primary and general election days
- Receive paid training on your duties
- Re-connect with neighbors who are civic-minded enough to vote!
- Free lunch and dinner usually provided by Democratic committee person!
- Help build the Green Party
- It's easy and fun!
We, in the Green Party of Philadelphia, can help you gather the less than 20 petition signatures you need to get on the ballot. Learn more by clicking here to download the Committee of Seventy's How_to_Run_for_Election_Officer booklet and then contact us!
